Passage: Exodus 6:13-8:19
Background:
- The Nile River was the most important water source for the Egyptians during Moses’ time. The Egyptians used the water for drinking, bathing, washing clothes, watering their crops, catching fish, etc. Because of its importance, the Egyptians also worshiped the Nile.
Questions and Comments:
- What does it mean that Moses will be God to Pharaoh (7:1)?
- Keep in mind that each miracle/plague God does has a purpose.
- Also, think about the order of the plagues.
