The Invisible dwells amongst us

I'm skipping some passages about the laws because I want to focus on things like the tabernacle. You can read the skipped passages if you like, it does, like Paul says in the NT, give you more of an understanding of our sinfulness and God's grace.

Passage: Exodus 25

Background:

1. The tabernacle was viewed as the literal dwelling place of God on earth.
2. A cherubim is one type of angel.

Questions and Comments:

1. What is a mercy seat, or atonement cover (v. 17)? Read Romans 3:21-25 for better understanding.
2. Did you notice that God does all the initiating? God comes down and dwells among us (v. 8) and He comes to meet with us (v. 22).
3. Why does God want Moses to construct all these things (i.e. the table, lampstand, etc.)?
